We use your provided personal information for providing and improving the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Registering for or enrolling in a textbook on this site does not enroll you in any university courses. You must enroll in your courses through your institution's registrar. Access to the textbook is granted to one individual — the original registrant. It is non-transferable and may not be shared or resold.
The educational content on this platform was authored by Ian Schnee and is published independently. All textbook content © Ian Schnee. The interactive platform, AI tutors, exercises, and learning infrastructure are designed and operated by Alcademia LLC.

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree not to disclose your password or share your account access with anyone, including other students. Please notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

We use local storage for certain interactive features (e.g., exercise state). Clearing your cookies or local storage may remove locally saved progress. Third-party cookies may include services such as Google Analytics or Cloudflare, which help us improve the platform.
We may employ third-party companies to facilitate or deliver the Service. These parties have access to your information only as needed to perform their tasks and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

As an educational website, we may process and store data about your interactions using xAPI. We use this data to understand how well exercises are designed and to help improve your learning experience. This may include your score, maximum score, start time, finish time, and time spent.
We may store interactive content you create on the platform and may send anonymized reports to component creators. Please consult the H5P tracking information page for details.
